The New York concept that specializes in platters and sandwiches stuffed with chicken, gyro or falafel will open a second Atlanta location at Modera by Mill Creek – Midtown.

The 29-story apartment tower is located on 8th Street, near the new headquarters for NCR Corp.

The Halal Guys will take almost 1,500 square feet at Modera. It’s set to open in first-quarter 2018.

“The addition of The Halal Guys to the retail landscape at Modera Midtown is a huge win for the community,” Harvey Wadsworth, vice president of development for Mill Creek, said in an announcement. “We’re excited to partner with the team there and are looking forward to seeing the concept further energize Midtown’s evolving culinary scene.”

The Mill Creek project will also include Momonoki, a modern Japanese concept from the team behind Decatur’s Brush Izakaya.

As Atlanta Business Chronicle reported in March, The Halal Guys is expanding in metro Atlanta. The first location opened to long lines in January in Chamblee.

Adrienne Crawford and Lily H. Heimburger with SRS Real Estate Partners represent Mill Creek in the deal with The Halal Guys. Logan Elder with JLL represented the restaurant.
