It has been a year of development and growth for SRS Real Estate Partner’s women-in-real-estate group, SOAR, and they are excited to present an in-person networking and education event at the end of September. The first-ever SOAR Connection Event will be hosted in Dallas and features multiple notable guest speakers. Attendees will participate in a fireside chat with guest speakers, and take part in a discussion surrounding women’s roles in the commercial real estate arena. The program also includes several networking and team bonding events, as well as ample opportunity for attendees to learn from their peers.
SRS launched the SOAR program in 2020 with the goal of developing a community of female brokers and producers within SRS that can help move the needle and empower existing team members to further advance their careers. SOAR was established, and is currently led, by some of the most well-respected women in the retail brokerage industry. Ray Uttenhove, managing principal in the Atlanta office, Karla Smith, senior vice president and principal in the Dallas/Ft. Worth office, and Stephanie Davis, senior vice president in the Phoenix office, are currently leading the group and hosting the upcoming program.
