SRS Opens New San Diego Office

SRS Real Estate Partners has hired Sam Hanna and Bryan Raphaelson, both from Marcus & Millichap’s net lease group, to anchor the new San Diego team. The company also appointed Michael Lagazo, formerly of SVN, as vice president.

SRS Real Estate Partners has opened a new San Diego office and appointed three new brokers to anchor the team. Sam Hanna, senior vice president, and Bryan Raphaelson, associate, joined the new branch as part of the National Net Lease Group (NNLG), while Michael Lagazo, vice president, will provide tenant and landlord services as part of the company’s Southern California team.

With more than 12 years of experience in commercial real estate, Hanna most recently served as vice president of investments & an associate director in Marcus & Millichap’s Net Lease Properties Group. During his career, Hanna has closed nearly $300 million in transactions.

Raphaelson also joins SRS from Marcus & Millichap, with a background in single-tenant industrial properties. As part of the NNLG, he will focus on single-tenant and net-lease retail property advisory. The duo will be supported by a transaction coordinator, as well as by marketing efforts through the NNLG headquarters in Newport Beach, Calif.

Lagazo has more than 13 years of experience in commercial real estate, including general management of mid- to large-sized organizations. At SRS, he will be in charge of tenant and landlord representation. Over the course of his career, Lagazo has completed more than 700 transactions. Most recently, he worked at SVN, providing landlord and tenant representation services.

In addition to the San Diego market, SRS has been expanding its team in other parts of the country. The firm recently hired a new senior vice president in its Orlando office and another SVP in its Houston office.
