(Austin, Texas) April 2, 2010 – SRS Real Estate Partners is pleased to announce the relocation of Goodwill Industries’ store at Oak Hill Center at William Cannon and 290 to 7100 W. Hwy 290, Austin, TX, a site known as the “Y at Oakhill,” because it is located at the convergence of two major highways, US Highway 290 West and Highway 71.
The 16,000 sf property was formerly an Albertson’s grocery store, and is expected to open August 1. Prosperity Bank and Starbucks are also located at this gateway to the Hill Country. The location captures both incoming and outgoing Austin traffic, and also serves the surrounding areas such as Lakeway and Dripping Springs.
Goodwill Industries has seven retail stores, two outlet stores and nine book stores located between Georgetown and San Marcos in central Texas.
Todd Wallace, senior vice president and Austin market leader, and Robert O’Farrell, vice president of SRS Real Estate Partners represented Goodwill Industries in the purchase.
