Furniture Factory Warehouse Adds Location in El Paso, Texas

(El Paso, Texas) August 12, 2009 – Furniture Factory Warehouse has announced its’ third location in El Paso, Texas. Scheduled to open early fourth quarter 2009, the 22,872 sf store will join co-tenants Kmart, Ross Dress for Less and PetSmart in Sunland Shopping Center in El Paso, Texas.
“Furniture Factory Warehouse is bucking the current trend for furniture retailers by expanding where strategic opportunities exist during this economic downturn,” said Robert O’Farrell, vice president of SRS Real Estate Partners’ Austin office. “They have added three new stores, to their existing chain of eleven, in the past eight months.”
Todd Wallace, senior vice president and market leader, Robert O’Farrell, vice president, and Daniel Taylor, senior vice president, all of SRS Real Estate Partners, represented the tenant. Dan Meador, with Kite Realty, represented the landlord.
SRS Real Estate Partners represented Furniture Factory Warehouse in two other leases this year. Their 12,500 sf space at The Forum Shopping Center in San Antonio, Texas is currently open and 20,754 sf space at Market Heights in Harker Heights, Texas which is scheduled to open at the end of August.
