Investor Lys Holdings LLC of Irving has purchased a former Target building at 4343 Gannon Lane in Dallas and plans to redevelop it for multiple retail tenants. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Jenny Beauty Supply will occupy part of the 98,500-square-foot former Target store. The rest of the property will be developed for yet-to-be-named tenants.

Mark Reeder and Ryan Johnson with SRS Real Estate Partners represented Target in the transaction. Steve Gray with the Weitzman Group and Sergio Rodriguez with Texas Premier Real Estate represented the buyer.

“The Southwest Center Mall trade area is a good location for value retailers like Jenny Beauty Supply,” said Reeder, executive vice president with SRS. “The visibility to I-20, high traffic counts, and high population density of this former Target location make it an ideal site for their concept.”
