SRS Real Estate Partners’ Birmingham Office Closes Q2 with More Than $25.3 Million in Transactions

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. (August 7, 2018) – SRS Real Estate Partners’ (SRS) Birmingham office closed its second quarter with more than $25.3 million in leasing transactions and 175,048 square feet of retail space.

An overview of SRS Real Estate Partners in Birmingham latest deals include the following:

Martin Smith represented the tenant, Mathnasium, in the leasing of 1,515 square feet of space at Mountain Brook Plaza in Mountain Brook, Ala. He also represented the tenant, CPR Cell Phone Repair, in the leasing of 1,250 square feet of space at Sam’s Club Plaza in Hoover, Ala. Mr. Smith also represented the tenant, Sky Zone, in the leasing of 24,520 square feet of space at Edgewater Mall in Biloxi, Miss. Martin Smith represented the landlord, InvenTrust Property Management, in the leasing of 9,000 square feet of space to Five Below; 1,275 square feet of space to Great Clips; and 2,430 square feet of space to Verizon at Fultondale Promenade in Fultondale, Ala.

Martin Smith also represented the tenant, Sport Clips, in the following deals:

  • New lease of 1,400 square feet of space at The Market Shoppes in Decatur, Ala.
  • New lease of 1,957 square feet of space at Warren Place in Vestavia Hills, Ala.

Martin Smith and Cooper Smith represented the landlord, Inland Commercial Property Management, in the leasing of 3,200 square feet of space at The Shoppes of Madison in Madison, Ala. to America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses.

Cooper Smith represented the landlord, Baceline Investments, in the lease of 2,430 square feet of space at Roebuck Plaza in Birmingham, Ala. to Cosmetology School. He also represented the landlord, Arcadian Cap Group, in the lease renewal of 1,200 square feet of space at Florence Square in Florence, Ala. to Salon K. Mr. Smith also represented the landlord, Broadway Partners, in the leasing of 2,200 square feet of space at 1045 Broadway Street in Homewood, Ala. to TMJ.

Cooper Smith also represented the landlord, SoHo Partners, in the following deals:

  • New lease of 2,701 square feet of space at SoHo Square in Homewood, Ala. to Ensley Fairfield Mattress

Ward Neely represented the landlord, Centerpoint Properties, in the sale of 1,056 square feet of space at 2408 Center Point Parkway to Abu Sharif. He also represented the tenant, Phenix Salon Suites, in the leasing of 4,730 square feet of space at Vestavia Hills City Center in Vestavia Hills, Ala
