Matt joined SRS’ Capital Markets team in 2018. Prior to that, Matt was with Barrington Capital, where he was responsible for managing and originating client relationships as well as arranging and securing debt and equity across all property types. Along with his partner Ben Townsend, Matt has closed $150 million in financing transactions in the last 12 months. With access to many regional and national lenders, along with his vigorous work ethic, tenacity, and steadfast dedication, Matt was able to secure unparalleled financing terms for his clients, allowing them to create positive leverage for future investments. Matt owes a large part of his success to a proactive mindset, which he believes is crucial to any successful transaction. Prior to that, Matt worked at HOM Sotheby’s in Newport Beach as an associate with one of the top luxury residential teams in the country. Matt is a graduate of Chapman University and a member of ICSC and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
