SRS Real Estate Partners’ Birmingham Office Closes Q3 with More Than $23 Million in Transactions

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. (November 28, 2018) – SRS Real Estate Partners’ (SRS) Birmingham office closes Q3 with more than $23 million in sales and leasing transactions and 249,239 square feet of property.

An overview of SRS Real Estate Partners in Birmingham latest deals include the following:

Martin Smith represented the tenant, Captain D’s, in the leasing of 3,954 square feet of space at 760 Skyland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He also represented the tenant, Mathnasium, in the leasing of 1,515 square feet of space at Mountain Brook Plaza in Mountain Brook, Ala.

Mr. Smith also procured the following deals:

  • Represented the landlord, InvenTrust Property Management, at the Fultondale Promenade in Fultondale, Ala., in the following deals:
    • The Relocation and Expansion of Encore Shoes to a new 10,000 sq ft space,
    • The expansion Therapy South into an additional of 1,723 square feet of space.
    • The lease totaling of 9,000 square feet of space to Five Below
    • The lease of 2,430 square feet of space to Verizon.

Mr. Smith also represented the landlord, Inland Commercial Property Management, in the leasing of 3,200 square feet of space to America’s Best at Shoppes at Madison in Madison, Ala.

Mr. Smith and Amelia Hearin represented the landlord, New Market Properties, in the lease renewals Bella Nails and Tony’s Hot Dogs, in 1,200 square feet of space each at Southgate Village in Pelham, Ala.

Mr. Smith and Cooper Smith represented the landlord, Arcadian Cap Group, in the leasing of 10,000 square feet of space to Party Wow and in the lease renewal of 1,200 square feet of space to Salon K at Florence Square in Florence, Ala.

Martin and Cooper also represented the landlord, Baceline Investments, in the leasing of 2,430 square feet of space to a Cosmetology Schoole and in the leasing of 4,800 square feet of space to Taylor Internal Medicine at Roebuck Plaza in Birmingham, Ala.

Hamilton Huber represented the tenant, Big Spoon Creamery, in the leasing of 1,300 square feet of space at 927 Oxmoor Road in Homewood, Ala. He also represented the tenant, Original B’ham, in the leasing of 485 square feet of space and the tenant, Studebakery, in the leasing of 783 square feet of space at The Battery in Birmingham, Ala. Mr. Huber also represented the tenant, South Boutique, in the leasing of 2,612 square feet of space at The Summit in Birmingham, Ala.

  • New lease of 1,582 square feet of space to Fab’rik at Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
  • New lease of 3,500 square feet of space to J. Jill at Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
  • New lease of 2,533 square feet of space to Massage Envy at Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
  • Lease renewal of 12,000 square feet of space and lease expansion of 2,409 square feet of space to Planet Fitness at Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
  • New lease of 4,170 square feet of space to Tuscaloosa Nails at Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
  • New lease of 2,132 square feet of space to Wing Stop at Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Amelia Hearin represented the tenant, Dear Prudence, in the leasing of 1,616 square feet of space at 929 Oxmoor Road in Homewood, Ala.

Ward Neely represented the landlord, Electric Birmingham, in the leasing of the following spaces at The Battery in Birmingham, Ala.:

  • 3,788 square feet of space to District Brewing
