PHOENIX (August 18, 2015) –Safeway and Triumph Properties Group, the owners of the Moon Valley Shopping Center which is located at 13440 N. Seventh Street, Phoenix, Ariz., at the northwest corner of Thunderbird Road and Seventh Street, have recently entered into a new twenty year lease. Safeway has agreed to invest several million dollars in the expansion, renovation and modernization of the entire store facade and interior. The Moon Valley Shopping Center and the existing shop space will be fully renovated and ownership will be offering two new approximately 5,000-square-foot pads fronting Seventh Street, a major north south artery from northeast Phoenix to Downtown Phoenix. Both Safeway and the Moon Valley shopping center renovation will commence later this month, August 2015.
Moon Valley is an established Phoenix neighborhood, with an average household income of over $100,000 within a one-mile radius of the center, and is conveniently located adjacent to numerous employment centers. Bill Gates, Councilman for District Three, and Alan Stephenson, the City of Phoenix Planning Director, and his team were very cooperative in the processing of the Safeway and shopping center expansion and renovation plans.
