ATLANTA (May 21, 2015) – SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS) represented Habitat for Humanity ReStore in the leasing of a 26,453-square-foot space at Roswell Shopping Center. This is their thirty-seventh location in Georgia. The new store opened on April 11, 2015 and is located at 11060 Alpharetta Hwy., which is situated at the southwest corner of the intersection of Alpharetta Highway and Sun Valley Drive in Roswell, Ga. DuRhone Group is the owner of this property, which SRS also represents.
The concept for Habitat for Humanity ReStore began 1991. The nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers provide new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at a portion of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity utilizes the proceeds from Habitat ReStores to help build, rehabilitate and repair more homes locally and around the world. In 2014, ReStore donations diverted more than 235,000 tons of building materials from landfills by giving reusable items a second life. Currently, there are more than 920 Habitat ReStores in five countries. Habitat for Humanity has slated additional ReStores locations opening in Greater Atlanta in the near future.
