Asheville, N.C.-based natural foods grocer Earth Fare Inc. on Wednesday opened its first intown Atlanta store.
The 24,000-square-foot store is located at the Emory Point mixed-use development, near Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“Earth Fare loves to expand where people are health conscious, educated and looking to make changes,” said company spokeswoman Amanda Arnet. “Atlanta is a vibrant community that’s growing.”
Earth Fare carries products that are free of artificial sweeteners, colors, preservatives, flavors, trans-fats, antibiotics and hormones.
It features many local products, including Georgia-based Springer Mountain Farms chicken.
The Emory Point location is Earth Fare’s 37th store. Ray Uttenhove, Steve Gunning and Sarah Williams of SRS Real Estate Partners represented Earth Fare in its lease.
