Earth Fare, an organic foods grocer headquartered in Asheville, NC, will open its fourth location in Georgia after signing a 19-year lease for 24,782 square feet at Gables Emory Point Phase II, a 200,000-square-foot mixed-use development located in Midtown Atlanta.
Earth Fare is the first retail tenant to sign on at the project, which consists of first floor retail space below five floors of multifamily space.
Construction on Gables Emory Point Phase II began in February 2014 at 1627 Clifton Rd. NE and is scheduled to wrap up next quarter. The property is located next to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Emory Conference Center.
Steve Gunning, Ray Uttenhove and Sarah Williams of SRS Real Estate Partners represented Earth Fare in the deal, while Darryl Bonner of Cousins Properties represented the landlord, Clarion Partners.
