ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 2, 2019) – SRS Real Estate Partners is pleased to welcome Courtney Potter as vice president in the Orlando office. Courtney brings experience on both the brokerage and retailer sides and specializes in tenant representation, new site selections, land acquisition and dispositions.
Courtney joins SRS with more than 13 years of experience in commercial real estate, most recently with Melandco Real Estate Services, Inc. where she spent the past four years representing Walmart and Sam’s Club on new site selections, land acquisitions, and excess land dispositions. Additionally, Walmart requested her as the liaison in their industrial site selections to fulfill grocery delivery contracts. This experience enabled her to see first-hand the retailer’s response to an ever-changing buyer experience and the ripple affect it has on the infrastructure of this institutional client. In addition to Walmart, Courtney has recently started working with Public Storage, Take 5 Oil Change, and Elevation Development. She has done consulting work where she created a strategic plan for the Church Street Entertainment District, a historic part of downtown that is home to an eclectic mix of world class dining, professional sports, live entertainment, and Orlando’s award-winning Amway Center. Courtney has been recognized many times within the industry for her accomplishments, some of which include her selection as a Forty Under 40 by the Orlando Business Journal, a Top Women in Florida Commercial Real Estate by the Florida Real Estate Journal, and a CoStar Power Broker. She is active within ICSC and has been a chair, co-chair, and board member for the Orlando Programs Committee.
