The new leadership was selected as part of an aggressive growth strategy that will focus on further enhancing and expanding SRS’ reach in the South Florida market. In the role of market leader, they will be responsible to continue to grow their market’s client base and recruit qualified brokers who desire to become part of the nation’s top exclusive retail real estate platform. This platform consists of integrated brokerage services, corporate services, development services, investment services and management services for users and owners of retail space.
John Artope has been selected to lead the office in South Florida. He already leads the offices in Orlando and Tampa, making South Florida his third office to lead and SRS’ entire presence in Florida. Linking these offices with a common leadership and shared resources, SRS aims to create a unified presence in the state of Florida. Artope has been active in commercial real estate since 1984 and joined SRS in 2002. He specializes in tenant representation, development, strategic site-selection planning, portfolio dispositions and acquisitions. Currently, Artope serves as a member of the company’s Leadership Council and Board of Directors. He is consistently a top producer and recently won the prestigious internal SRS Chairman’s Award for 2012.
