Located 11 miles northwest of the Chicago Loop, Norwood Park was established in 1873 and in 1986 the City of Chicago identified a large portion of the district as historic. Norwood Restaurant, Norwood Park Auto Sales and Superdawg are a few of the neighborhood retailers.
