Michael Weiss profile image

Michael Weiss joined SRS Real Estate Partners in 2011 as Senior Vice President in the Fort Lauderdale office. He has over 25 years of experience working many facets of commercial real estate including brokerage, corporate real estate, acquisitions, development and landlord leasing. Michael is a versatile professional with extensive knowledge and relationships throughout the industry.

Michael began his commercial real estate career at Coldwell Banker Commercial (currently CBRE) where he was a Senior Retail Specialist in the Ft. Lauderdale office. From CBRE Michael joined the fast growing retailer Blockbuster Entertainment working in the new store development out of the corporate headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale. He joined as a Real Estate Representative opening new stores in the Florida and Georgia markets. Michael was later promoted to Real Estate Manager of the Southeastern US before being promoted to the Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region and later Vice President of the Eastern Region, overseeing all development of the Eastern US from Maine to Florida. After working corporate real estate he has since worked for some of the state’s most active development companies including Paradise Development, Frontier Development and Woolbright Development with extensive experience in acquisitions, development and the leasing of shopping centers. Before joining SRS, Michael was with Gadinsky Real Estate LLC doing tenant representation and landlord leasing.

Michael has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
