Don possesses a significant record of achievement in providing comprehensive real estate and consulting services to retailers. He is a well-respected retail real estate professional who specializes in tenant representation and development advisory services.
Don understands strategic, multi-market expansion planning and implementation, resulting in high-volume, profitable stores. He has extensive knowledge of retail development, build-to-suit development, and has designed and executed multi-market expansion programs for a variety of retailers and entertainment operators. As a market leader and master broker in the U.S., Don’s extensive scope of knowledge for broker management, strategic planning, multi-service account coordination, and transaction execution culminates into a winning client strategy.
Previously based in Denver, Don opened our Hong Kong office in 2012 and led it for more than nine years before moving back to the U.S. and joining our San Francisco office. He is very familiar with the Asian retail landscape. His on-the-ground broker network covers all the relevant cities in Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region. Some of Don’s clients in Asia include American Eagle Outfitters, Aerie, Ashley Furniture, Urban Outfitters, Carl’s Jr., Outback Steakhouse, UA Cinemas, Walmart, and Sam’s Club.
