Casey Smallwood

SVP & Managing Principal

Casey Smallwood joined SRS in 2022 as senior vice president and managing principal in the Louisville office. He is responsible for recruiting team members and growing SRS' presence in the region. Casey focuses on tenant and owner services and works to promote those offerings to retail real estate clients in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana.

Casey has more than eight years of experience in commercial real estate. Over his career, Casey has gained a vast knowledge of retail tenant representation and worked with a multitude of clients on site selection in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. Casey has represented many notable retailers including 7 Brew Coffee, AT&T, Bluegrass Hospitality Group, BioLife Plasma Services, Bojangles, Carvana, Dollar General, Drake’s, Fresenius Kidney Care, Guggenheim Partners, Jiffy Lube, NAPA Auto Parts, Penn Station, Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, and Zips Car Wash. Prior to working in commercial real estate, Casey held a 13-year career as a basketball coach at the high school and college levels.

Casey is a native of Louisville, Kentucky and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville. He currently serves as the Tennessee/Kentucky Marketplace Council Director for the International Council of Shopping Centers and has served as the co-chair of the Tennessee/Kentucky Idea Exchange since 2017. He is also the State Chair for Kentucky NextGen and is a planning committee member for ICSC@Southeast.
