Casey Smallwood is a senior vice president and managing principal with SRS Real Estate Partners, where he leads the firm’s Louisville office and advises national and regional clients on site selection, market expansion, and portfolio strategy across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. With more than a decade of commercial real estate experience, he specializes in helping multi-market tenants and institutional clients make data-driven real estate decisions in both urban and growth markets.
Representing a diverse roster of national and regional brands, Casey has completed more than 350 transactions across multiple markets throughout the Southeast and Midwest. He has experience advising clients on site selection, lease negotiations, and long-term growth strategies, with a focus on aligning real estate decisions with broader business objectives.
His client roster includes brands such as 7 Brew Coffee, AT&T, Bluegrass Hospitality Group, Carvana, Chase, Discount Tire, Dollar General, Drake’s, Guggenheim Partners, Jiffy Lube, NAPA Auto Parts, Planet Fitness, pOpshelf, Taco Bell, Veterinary Emergency Group, Wendy’s, Wild Eggs, and Wingstop.
In addition to his client work, Casey is responsible for recruiting and mentoring team members and driving the continued growth of SRS’ presence throughout the region. Under his leadership, the Louisville office has expanded its platform and capabilities, supporting both local and national clients with scalable real estate solutions.
Casey is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville. He currently serves as the Tennessee/Kentucky Marketplace Council Director for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a global trade association for the retail real estate industry. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, he spent 13 seasons as a basketball coach at the high school and collegiate levels, where he developed a leadership style grounded in discipline, teamwork, and performance.
