Andy Clemens joined SRS Real Estate Partners in January of 2020 as a senior vice president in the Denver office. He specializes in landlord and tenant representation at both the national and local level. Since beginning his career in New York City, Andy has completed hundreds of transactions valued at more than $1 billion. His deep knowledge and vast experience closing retail deals makes him an incredible resource for both landlords and tenants in the markets he serves.
Prior to joining SRS, Andy worked as a managing partner for RIPCO Real Estate in New York City. He led a team of 15 brokers that concentrated on the outer boroughs of the city. He and his team completed several high-profile transactions including J. Crew’s and Sephora’s first Brooklyn locations, Blue Bottle Coffee’s east coast commissary and distribution center, a 25,000 square foot data center for Transit Wireless, several Target stores throughout Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens, a 160,000 square foot office lease to the city of New York, a 45,000 square foot rock climbing gym to Brooklyn Boulders, and the first U.S. retail outpost for Focals by North which was recently purchased by Google.
In recognition of his accomplishments, Andy has received numerous awards and accolades. He was recognized by the Commercial Observer in 2013 as a “40 under 40” and one of New York’s most promising real estate professionals. CoStar recognized him as a Power Broker in 2016, 2017 and 2018. And throughout his career he’s received many awards, recognitions and promotions for his outstanding sales and leadership efforts.
Andy is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He spends his free time with his dog, Butch, in mountains skiing, biking, hiking, fishing and hunting.
