SRS Real Estate Partners Welcomes Two Capital Advisors to National Net Lease Group

Expands capabilities to further serve retail real estate investors

Newport Beach, Calif. (March 27, 2018) – SRS is pleased to welcome two new team members to the National Net Lease Group in the Newport Beach office. Matt Marlin and Ben Townsend have both joined as senior associates and will act as capital advisors for the team. The two finance professionals will be responsible for managing and originating client relationships as well as arranging and securing debt and equity for clients who look to purchase or refinance commercial properties. Matt and Ben bring an entirely new set of skills to the NNLG team that expands SRS’ capabilities to further serve retail real estate investors through all aspects of the investment process. As the investment services teams continue to grow and broaden their skill sets, SRS further strengthens its position as an industry leader in retail investment services.

Matt Marlin joins the NNLG from Barrington Capital, where he secured debt financing for commercial real estate investments. With access to many regional and national lenders, along with his vigorous work ethic, tenacity, and steadfast dedication, Matt was able to secure unparalleled financing terms for his clients, allowing them to create positive leverage for future investments. Matt owes a large part of his success to a proactive mindset, which he believes is crucial to any successful transaction. Prior to that, Matt worked at HOM Sotheby’s in Newport Beach as an associate with one of the top luxury residential teams in the country. Matt is a graduate of Chapman University and a member of ICSC and the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Ben Townsend joins SRS from Barrington Capital, where he was responsible for managing and originating client relationships as well as arranging and securing debt and equity across all property types. Ben was consistently ranked as a top producer for the company and was recognized on numerous occasions for his transaction volume and leadership capabilities. During his time at Barrington, Ben helped grow the company from a team of two in Los Angeles to a team of nine across three different offices in two states. Ben is a graduate of the University of Southern California and a member of ICSC, the Mortgage Bankers Association, and NAIOP.
