SRS Real Estate Partners Supports Alzheimer’s Association through Sponsorship of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Walk to End Alzheimer’s is World’s Largest Event Dedicated to Alzheimer’s Care, Support and Research

DALLAS (October 5, 2023) – SRS Real Estate Partners has joined the Alzheimer’s Association as the 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer’s® presenting sponsor in Dallas. The Dallas Walk to End Alzheimer’s® will be held on November 4, 2023 at Dallas City Hall Plaza.

SRS Real Estate Partners has been a long-term supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association, participating in fundraising events that have benefited the Association since 2014. Their most successful fundraising event is an auction at the annual company-wide retreat. This year, the auction featured artwork donated from artists and private collections selected by each SRS office across the nation. SRS has raised more than $674,000 to date towards Alzheimer’s care, support, research, and advocacy.

“As a corporate partner of the Alzheimer’s Association since 2014, we are honored to be the presenting sponsor of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” said Chris Maguire, CEO and Chairman of the Board of SRS Real Estate Partners. “This disease touches millions of people, including several close to the SRS family. We’re proud to support research into new treatment options as well as care and support for those directly impacted by the disease.”

“As one of the most influential and respected leaders in commercial real estate, SRS Real Estate Partners believes that businesses have certain responsibilities to their communities. Being actively involved with important causes – like dementia and Alzheimer’s disease — that impact the lives of so many is just one way that SRS gives back,” said Mark Denzin, Executive Director for the Alzheimer’s Association Dallas and Northeast Texas Chapter.

“Their unwavering support of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a tangible example of their commitment to corporate citizenship. Through their engagement with the Alzheimer’s Association and support of our mission, they are positively impacting the quality of life for the communities where they live and work.”

More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease in the United States. Additionally, more than 11 million family members and friends provide care to people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. In Texas alone, there are more than 400,000 people living with the disease and one million caregivers.
