ATLANTA (December 10, 2015) – SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS) announced that the Southeast Investment Sales team in Atlanta successfully executed four retail sales transactions in November of 2015, totaling more than 530,335 square feet of retail real estate. The sales were completed throughout the southeast in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia and included major tenants such as Walmart Neighborhood Market, Toys “R” Us, Jo-Ann, Staples, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and Dollar General Market.
SRS’ Southeast Investment Sales team, along with Lincoln Property Co., brokered the sale of Pleasant Hill Square in Duluth, Ga. Pleasant Hill Square is a 282,137-square-foot regional power center, anchored by Toys “R” Us, Jo-Ann and Staples. The property is located at 2205 Pleasant Hill Road, which is situated just north of the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Satellite Boulevard. The seller, Wells Fargo, N.A, sold the property for $16.4 million on November 25, 2015 to GW Real Estate of Georgia, LLC. Kyle Stonis, senior vice president, and Pierce Mayson, vice president, in the SRS Atlanta office, along with Tony Bartlett and Chip Sipple of Lincoln Property Co., represented the seller, Wells Fargo, N.A, in the transaction. The buyer, GW Real Estate of Georgia, LLC, was self-represented in this transaction.
Stonis and Mayson, also sold Satilla Square Shopping Center, an 117,212-square-foot community center in Waycross, Ga. The property, which is located at 1803 Knight Ave., was sold on November 17, 2015, for $4.26 million. Stonis and Mayson represented the sellers, Satilla Square, LLC, Henderson Satilla, LLC and Satilla Land, LLC. The buyer, Baer Asset Management Company, did not have representation in the transaction.
RCG – Durham, LLC, an affiliate of RCG Ventures, LLC, sold Willowdaile Shopping Center, an 89,617-square-foot community center, in Durham, N.C. The property is located at 3823 Guess Road, which is situated at the northwest corner of Guess Road and Horton Road. Willowdaile Shopping Center, which is anchored by Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and Dollar Tree, sold for $8.25 million and closed on November 19, 2015. Stonis and Mayson represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer, Willowdaile Star Holdings, LLC, did not have representation in this transaction.
On November 5, 2015 the sale of a single-tenant-net-leased Walmart Neighborhood Market in Anderson, S.C. was finalized. The store is located at 2003 East Greenville Street, which is situated at the northwest corner of Greenville Street and Reed Road directly across the street from AnMed Health Medical Center. The Walmart Neighborhood Market consists of 41,369 square feet on 6.5 acres of land. Stonis and Mayson represented the seller, Cypress Equities. The property sold for an undisclosed price to VEREIT, Inc.
