SRS Real Estate Partners Serves Local Community

DALLAS (December 17, 2013) – SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS) selected two ways to serve the community this holiday season, donating time to local charity, Brother Bill’s Helping Hand, and gifts to the Salvation Army Angel Tree.

The SRS Dallas office took the afternoon to donate time at Brother Bill’s Helping Hand on December 12. There, the team helped prepare bags of food at the free grocery store, sorted toys for their annual Christmas Eve celebration, and helped prepare the space for the festivities.

Brother Bill's Helping Hand brings not just a legacy of 70 years of service to West Dallas, but hope for a better life to the more than 25,000 people living in the 75212 zip code. As a faith-based nonprofit, that hope comes in the form of education, health, and essentials of life programs. SRS became involved with Brother Bill’s Helping Hand through a connection with some of the Dallas office team members.

Additionally, SRS participated for the ninth consecutive year in the Salvation Army Corporate Angel Tree program which benefits underprivileged individuals in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. SRS partnered with Cypress Equities (an SRS affiliate) by adopting 70 angels ranging in age from newborn to senior citizen.

Once all the angel donations were received, SRS employees took the gifts to the Salvation Army Christmas Distribution Center on Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas. While at the center, SRS employees assisted in sorting gifts and stocking shelves.
