DALLAS (February 11, 2015) – SRS Real Estate Partners welcomes Kevin Boyd as senior vice president and co-market leader in the Chicago office. Experienced with local, regional, and national retailers, he will focus on tenant representation while jointly leading the Chicago team.
With more than 29 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Boyd comes to SRS from KCB Real Estate where he owned and built numerous shopping centers. While there, he facilitated the ground sale of a 50-story mixed-use hotel/retail and residential project that will be finished in 2016. He recently represented Walgreens in a 37,000-square-foot flagship location in the iconic Wrigley Building on Michigan Avenue. Prior to his time at KCB Real Estate, Boyd was a partner at Interstate Commercial where he handled the Midwest expansion of Circuit City and Carmax, completing more than 160 of their transactions. He brought CVS to Chicago and handled their initial roll-out completing more than 120 deals. Other retailers Boyd has represented include The Sports Authority, Staples, The Home Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods, IKEA, Walmart, Golf Galaxy, Toys"R"Us, Target and Kohl's.
