DALLAS (July 23, 2014) – SRS Real Estate Partners welcomes Daniel Poku as an associate in the Dallas/Ft. Worth office. A newcomer to the industry, Poku has a background in economics.
Poku is a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University where he majored in economics/markets and culture and minored in psychology. Daniel was drawn to the commercial real estate industry for the competitive nature of negotiating and advocating for someone who would otherwise be unable to achieve their goal without the assistance of an expert. Poku is currently pursuing a new venture with six of his friends, called CauseCakes, with plans to launch this fall. CauseCakes partnered with a local bakery to provide cupcakes with wrappers that prompt acts of random kindness for special events and corporate meetings. Poku is also currently active with Heroes of Tomorrow in Austin, a group that coordinates an annual Christmas event for homeless youth and their families.
