BIRMINGHAM, ALA. (July 25, 2018) – True40 Fitness Studio is the first tenant to open in downtown Birmingham at The Battery. Located at 2201 Second Avenue South, Unit 201 in Birmingham, Ala., True40 Fitness Studio will host its grand opening celebration on Thursday, August 2, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. True40 Fitness Studio Downtown Birmingham classes begin on Monday, August 6, and will offer 30 classes Monday through Saturday in addition to childcare for children ages infant through 10 years during select class times. The first week of classes will be free.
Founded by Allie Weingarten, True40 Fitness Studio is an uplifting studio that provides a total-body workout for all ages and fitness levels. High-intensity classes are low-impact, balance the body, strengthen the core and provide various challenging exercises in one 60-minute workout. Movements are designed to lengthen and tone muscles, improve overall posture and balance, and build confidence in True40 clients. Weingarten’s True40 Fitness Studio locations include Auburn, Ala.; Cahaba Heights, Ala.; Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and Atlanta, Ga. (opening October 2018). True40 Fitness Studio in Downtown Birmingham is the fourth location in Alabama and the first franchise.
Kaitlyn Bentley, the first franchisee and owner of True40 Fitness Studio Downtown Birmingham, is a lifelong fitness enthusiast with a love for the community that fitness studios create. In 2016, she left corporate America to manage True40 Fitness Studio’s Cahaba Heights location. Bentley has now worked with Weingarten to open the downtown Birmingham location at The Battery.
