DALLAS (October 29, 2014) – SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS) has selected Esri as their provider of GIS mapping software and demographics tools. Esri is the leading tool for research in the industry and has more than 2,000 demographic variables through Esri’s Business Analyst Online (BAO).
Brokers at SRS, as well as research consultants and other support staff, now have access to more than 50 reports which will allow them to run gap analyses, demographic reports, expenditure reports, and lifestyle segmentations. The platform allows users access from anywhere, in the office or at home, as it can be used from a desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet. SRS brokers will be able to conduct research on the spot with the client while they are visiting sites and gathering local information. With BAO, SRS researchers will have more high quality data available to help them understand clients’ customers and markets, perform detailed site analysis, assess store network performance, analyze cannibalization, and optimize trade areas or territories
The research team and brokers reinforced their transition to the Esri platform with several training sessions and access was available to all users starting at the end of September.
