Newly Sold Retail Site to be Redeveloped as Hotel in Sunnyvale, Calif.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (July 7, 2015) –  SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS) announced today that it brokered the sale of a 7,782-square-foot freestanding retail building situated on 1.25 acres in Sunnyvale, Calif.  Located at 725 S. Fair Oaks Ave., the former Arka Indian Restaurant sits on a highly visible corner at El Camino Real with many retailers nearby, including In-N-Out Burger across the street and a new nearby Marriott Courtyard, whose land was also previously brokered by SRS. The property will be developed into a hotel to serve the needs of the surrounding Silicon Valley community.

Randol Mackley and Bruce Frazer with SRS Real Estate Partners represented the buyer in the transaction, which closed July 1, 2015.  Randol Mackley and Bob Quigley, also with SRS, represented the seller, SVK Capital, LLC. Mackley and Quigley also brokered the sale of the subject property in 2010, and in 2013 Mackley and Frazer brokered the sale of the Marriott Courtyard site referenced above.
