West 7th gets taken to the
cleaners

The West 7th Street corridor will soon be home to a new tenant that could prove a welcome addition for the area’s more dapper residents and workers: The Laundry, a 963-square-foot dry-cleaner and tailor.

The shop, located within the development’s parking structure accessible via Norwood and Currie Streets, will be run jointly by local business owners Marilyn Bevan and Brian Overstreet of Reata Alterations. The two already have a similar shop on South Hulen Street, according to a press release from Cypress Equities, West 7th’s developer.

Frank Bullock and Carey Shagets of SRS Real Estate Partners represented Cypress in the deal’s negotiations. Chieffalo Realty’s Rodger Chieffalo represented The
Laundry.
