  • Boston-based Liberty Mutual Insurance said last week that it has “no additional plans at this time” beyond bringing several hundred employees to its newest U.S. call center in Plano. “There will be several hundred employees in the call center, but we won’t have 4,000 employees,” Vice President John Cusolito told the Dallas Business Journal. Initial reports indicated the company could have from 4,000 to 5,000 employees at the center.
  • San Francisco-based Stitch Fix announced that it plans to open its third U.S. distribution center in southern Dallas near Cockrell Hill Road this. The move allows Stich Fix to better serve its clients in Texas and the southern United States.
  • Addison-based Behringer said it will relocate its North Texas headquarters into a soon-to-be developed office building along the Dallas North Tollway as the company repositions itself in the market as an alternative investment firm.
  • Dallas developer Leobardo Trevino has bought two office buildings in the Stemmons Freeway corridor. He plans to spend millions of dollars to renovate both properties. He’s still looking for more properties to buy.
  • Dallas-based real estate brokerage SRS Real Estate Partners has hired Woody McMinn as the new president for its North American business. He will focus on strategically growing the firm’s brokerage operations.
