SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS) recently participated for the eighth consecutive year in the Salvation Army Corporate Angel Tree program which benefit underprivileged children in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. For four weeks, SRS partnered with Cypress Equities (an SRS affiliate) by adopting 54 angels ranging in age from newborn to teenaged.
Once all the angel donations were received, SRS employees took the gifts, valued at more than $4,000, to the Salvation Army Christmas Distribution Center on Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas. While at the center, SRS employees assisted in sorting gifts and stocking shelves.
“This program allows all employees at SRS to reach so many families in need across the DFW metroplex and brings everyone together in the spirit of giving,” said Mark Reeder, executive vice president and market leader for the Dallas/Fort Worth office. “SRS prides itself on its strong commitment to give back to the community.”
SRS employees participate in numerous community service programs in each of the nationwide offices throughout the year. For the Dallas office as well as SRS corporate headquarters, the Salvation Army Corporate Angel Tree program provides employees with an opportunity to demonstrate teamwork and balance in their lives.
