SRS Real Estate Partners recently added three new members in the firm’s Toronto office.
Shawn Saraga, with more than 10 years of experience in the retail sector, joins the firm as senior vice president and market leader. Saraga has worked with hundreds of clients, mostly in the franchise sector with his own company; Mr. Franchise. He merged his own company with Cushman & Wakefield in April 2014 where he helped international brands expand in Canada.
Karen Koenig joins SRS Toronto as first vice president. She began her career overseeing retail leasing for fashion retailers Tommy Hilfiger and Mexx before transitioning to CBRE as a member of the firm’s retail group, where she specialized in tenant representation and business development. Most recently, Koenig worked with Saraga and his team as a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s retail and franchising group.
Elise Assaf joins the firm as sales coordinator. She transitioned from residential to commercial real estate when she joined Cushman & Wakefield, working on franchise development for the retail and franchise services division. A six-year industry veteran, Assaf’s past clients include Burger King, GS Beauty Brands, Druxy’s and Red Rood Hotels.
SRS Toronto launched in 2014 as the firm’s first office in Canada and only its second outside the U.S.
