SRS Real Estate Partners hired Steve Miskew (pictured) and Shannon Rex in Fort Lauderdale, FL to expand its investment services capabilities across South Florida.
Miskew will serve as the managing principal for the firm’s investment properties group and as market leader of the South Florida office. He has 33 years of investment sales experience and was co-founder of RJS Realty Group, Inc., where he closed numerous investment sales and managed the company’s business development and production activities. Before co-founding RJS Realty, he was an investment specialist at Coldwell Banker. Miskew is an active member of ICSC and has served on the editorial board of The Florida Real Estate Journal and the executive committee of the advisory board for the Bergstrom School for Real Estate at the University of Florida.
Rex will serve as the senior director for SRS Real Estate’s debt and equity group. He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate investment banking, sales, and management. Rex was previously a principal at the real estate advisory firm, Rex Capital Group, and the chief financial officer at HHC Florida LLC, which owns and develops assets in the hospitality sector.
