Hoover’s Stadium Trace Village shopping center sells for $13.9 million

Hoover’s Stadium Trace Village retail center has sold for $13.9 million.

MAP Development sold the property to Liberty Retail Properties, according to the SRS Real Estate Partners’ Investment Properties Group. Boris Shilkrot, along with Kyle Stonis, and Pierce Mayson, both managing principals of the Investment Properties Group in the SRS Atlanta office, represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer was self-represented in this transaction, according to the company.

Work began on the 44-acre mixed use Hoover development back in 2018.

The 33,625-square-foot mixed-use retail center, at 5220 Peridot Place just off Interstate 459, is home to OHenry’s Coffee, Edgar’s Bakery, Mooyah Burgers, Cookie Cutters, Taco Mama and Super Chix. The surrounding development is also set to include two hotels and a 1,000-seat amphitheater.

“We were thrilled to get this unparalleled, generational asset sold to an accomplished local buyer,” Shilkrot said.
