College Park, a 20-acre mixed-use development between Pecan Street and Center Street south of UTA Boulevard in Arlington, has lined up its first five retail tenants-all restaurants. Anchored by College Park Center, a 7,000-seat sports and entertainment venue, the retail component is slated to open this coming August.

The five new eateries “will attract people from the entire Arlington community and reflects our pursuit of a diverse tenant mix,” said Frank Bullock, executive vice president at SRS Real Estate Partners. He and SRS colleague Jack Burgher oversee leasing at College Park. “Currently, we are looking for a high-end convenience food market to serve the 33,500 students at UT Arlington and the downtown Arlington population,” Bullock said.

Here’s more information on the five new restaurant tenants:

• MAVS Sports Grill, a sports bar and grill concept with an average ticket price of $10 to $20, has leased 4,519 square feet. It was represented by Jennifer Tran of Avignon Realty.

• Pho Express, a Vietnamese-style noodle house, has signed on for 3,457 square feet. The tenant also was represented by Tran.

• Pie Five Pizza Co., a concept from Pizza Inn Holdings Inc. that will offer personal-size pizzas that are ready in five minutes, has leased 2,196 square feet. It was represented by Campbell Foster and Daniel Taylor with CBRE

• GRIP Mediterranean Grill, a fast-casual concept from the owners of Terra Mediterranean Grill and Ali Baba restaurants, has leased 2,041 square feet, and will offer its specialty 10-inch pita sandwiches. Greg Pierce with United Commercial Realty was the tenant representative.

• Coolberry Frozen Yogurt, a yogurt shop providing 90 flavors of frozen yogurt and 20 types of smoothies, has leased 1,600 square feet.
