Cypress Equities Breaks Ground On Oak Meadows Marketplace

Cypress Equities companies* today commenced construction of Oak Meadows Marketplace, a 11.17-acre grocery-anchored shopping center situated at the southeast corner of Williams Drive and Jim Hogg Road in Georgetown, Texas, just north of Austin.

At full build-out, Oak Meadows Marketplace is slated to feature 77,050 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Randalls Food Markets, which had executed a lease for 57,655 square feet, also broke ground on its new Georgetown store at the site. This new location will showcase a Starbucks coffee bar, a fresh sushi bar with seating, a full-service pharmacy offering on-site immunizations, a full-service meat and seafood department, an expanded variety of natural and organic selections throughout the store, a full-service floral department, as well as a fuel station and convenience store.

In addition to the Randalls market and fuel center, Cypress has already lined up two additional tenants. Organic Nails & Spa, at 2,097 square feet, will provide nail, manicure, pedicure, facial, waxing, makeup and eyelash extension services. Natural Pawz, set to occupy a 1,700-square foot space, will offer sales of all-natural food and treats for cats and dogs, pet supplies, as well as pet grooming services.

Oak Meadows Marketplace is slated to open in December 2017. Cypress’ in-house leasing team, along with SRS Real Estate Partners in Austin, will oversee retail leasing for this center.
