Developers say some additional parts of the Publix-anchored 20 Midtown development will open in the coming months.

Dick Schmalz of RGS Properties, who is developing the site along with Scott Bryant of Scott Bryant & Co., told the BBJ that the apartments in the mixed-use project should be ready in December.

"The Starbucks has already opened, and we're glad that they did," Schmalz said. "Chipotle is trying to be open by the end of the year." As we've previously reported, Chipotle Mexican Grill will occupy 2,400 square feet in the development.

"We have a letter of intent from someone that should occupy the last remaining retail space in the spring. We are now 100 percent leased," Schmalz said.

There will be 3,000 square feet of space that is occupied by a multipurpose office and business center for apartment residents that includes conference rooms, the apartment leasing office, RGS Properties' office and SRS Real Estate Partners' office space.

The first phase of 20 Midtown includes the first building and also the highly-anticipated Publix Super Market store, which will take 34,000 square feet. Schmalz said the Publix should be open by October or November 2016.

Phase 2 includes a third building, and is expected to be complete by spring of 2017.
