Flores Mexican Restaurant is developing a new location in Austin at The Trails at 620, according to SRS Real Estate Partners.
The new, 6,700-square-foot restaurant, located at the northwest corner of Ranch Road 620 and Wilson Parke Avenue, is scheduled to open in March 2012.
The new site is a relocation from the fourth restaurant in Four Points, at 7900 N. FM 620.
In this economic climate, there are a select few restaurants pursuing new, freestanding developments, said Austin McWilliams, first vice president of SRS Real Estate Partners.
McWilliams represented the tenant in the purchase of the one-acre lot at The Trails at 620.
Flores Mexican Restaurant opened its first restaurant in 1993.
