SRS Real Estate Partners has announced the addition of Carlos Lopez as Executive Vice President, Capital Markets in its Newport Beach, Calif. office. Lopez brings nearly 30 years of experience to his new role specializing in the sale of single-tenant triple-net lease (NNN) retail buildings and traditional shopping centers. His industry experience also encompasses a successful focus in the sale of buildings in downtown districts, high-profile mixed-use buildings, and high-street urban retail properties.

Prior to joining SRS, Lopez most recently served as an Executive Vice President at Hanley Investment Group. Over the course of his career, Lopez has represented and closed transactions with some of the top developers, financial institutions, and retailers in the business. He has been instrumental in selling numerous high-profile, unique buildings and developments, especially in California, such as: The historic TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman’s Chinese Theatre) in Hollywood; the Ralphs at Market Lofts in Downtown Los Angeles; and RH Yountville – The Gallery in Napa Valley.
Lopez graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Finance/Real Estate. He is active with USC Lusk Center for Real Estate and has lectured at both USC and California State University, Fullerton on retail real estate investments. He is an active member of ICSC and licensed California Real Estate Agent.
