An iconic Louisville office tower has a new name, and a couple of new tenants.
Kaden Tower, located at 6100 Dutchmans Lane, has been renamed to Wright Tower. The new name reflects the building’s history, as it was designed in 1966 by Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural firm Taliesin Associate Architects and protégé, William Wesley Peters.
Along with the name change, the building has a few new tenants as well.
One new tenant is Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners. Casey Smallwood, senior vice president and managing principal of the Louisville office, said the buildout on the new office is being completed now.
With three employees, the firm will be taking up 3,400 square feet. SRS opened its Louisville office last December.
Prior to this move, the team didn’t have a permanent office space.
Along with the location, Smallwood said one exciting feature of the office is access to Ruth’s Chris. Situated just a few floors below, the firm will be able to take advantage of happy hour at the restaurant when entertaining clients or out-of-town colleagues.
“It’s an incredibly unique building that has a ton of character and charm, which also played into [locating the office here],” Smallwood said. “It kind of gives you that throwback feel, mid-century modern, but in a modern office building.”
