Wes Babb

Senior Vice President

Wes Babb joined SRS in 2020 as senior vice president in the Austin office. He specializes in the acquisition and development of land for retail projects or those with a retail component. He also focuses on retail investment brokerage and tenant and landlord representation.

With 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, he has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of more than 4 million square feet of retail property valued in excess of $600 million. He has also directed the acquisition of approximately 50 pad sites for ground-up development in the Austin and San Antonio markets for clients including banks and fast casual restaurants. Wes has been a key part of the development of more than 1.3 million square feet of retail property in Central Texas including Shops at the Galleria, Frontier Crossing, Red Oak Village, and Northcross Mall. Prior to joining SRS, Wes was with Weitzman and Lincoln Property Company where he managed the retail division in Austin and San Antonio.

Wes has a master’s degree from Texas State University in San Marcos and a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, and Real Estate Council of Austin.
