Morgan Merrill
First Vice President, National Net Lease Group
Morgan joined SRS’ National Net Lease Group in 2018 from Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation where she worked closely with franchisees on growth plans across the U.S. She also worked with the KFC Development team to assess growth opportunities for the brand leveraging incentives that encouraged strategic franchise new unit development. In her role, she proactively recruited new franchisees, vetting candidates to make sure they were aligned with KFC’s strategic vision, as well as developed and maintained relationships with restaurant brokers and lenders to actively promote buying and selling opportunities within the brand. Additionally, Morgan had many roles with KFC and Yum! Brands, Inc., within financial planning and control. Prior to Yum! Brands, Morgan spent five years with Ernst & Young, LLP as a senior auditor. She has been a licensed CPA for nearly 10 years. Morgan is involved in many young professional and women’s groups in Louisville and enjoys volunteering with the Special Olympics coaching track and field, softball, and flag football. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville. Morgan is part of the Kentucky Society of CPA’s, the AICPA and the Young Professional Association of Louisville.
