John Artope, EVP and market leader for Orlando, South Florida and Tampa, as well as Garrett Colburn, SVP and market leader for Newport Beach, were chosen for the title amongst hundreds of nominations by retailers and real estate brokerage firms nationwide. The inaugural list was published in the September 2014 issue of Chain Store Age, the 89-year-old retail trade magazine based in New York. The 15 power brokers were selected based on number of retail real estate transactions in 2013, the dollar value of those transactions, and overall reputation in the industry.
