Fairfield, CT SRS Real Estate Partners was awarded its latest landlord representation assignment for a new 86,000 s/f retail development by Summit Development, LLC.

Kings Crossing, located at Kings Hwy. (Rte. 1) and US I-95, has broken ground and is currently under construction, with an expected opening in spring 2011. Signed tenants include a 45,000 s/f Whole Foods Market and a 14,000 s/f CVS/Pharmacy.

Kings Crossing is located adjacent to the new Metro North train station and a free standing Home Depot. The location was formerly a Hardy & Harman industrial site, and is being repurposed for retail use.

Patrick Smith, executive vice president and principal, and Christa Minogue, senior associate, of SRS Real Estate Partners have been retained to lease the remaining 22,000 s/f multi-tenant retail space.

“We are proud to bring this Whole Foods anchored shopping center to Fairfield. Our project will complete the linkage to Fairfield’s new train station,” said Felix Charney, principal of Summit Development LLC, the project developer.
