DALLAS (March 1, 2018) – SRS Real Estate Partners is proud to welcome Cooper Smith as associate in the Birmingham office. He will focus on tenant and landlord representation alongside the Birmingham team.
Cooper joins SRS with more than four years of experience in commercial real estate. Most recently with J.H. Berry & Gilbert, Inc., Cooper focused on the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of office, retail, and healthcare real estate nationwide. While there, he specialized in urban retail leasing, helping landlords recruit first-to-market tenants and new concepts. Prior to joining J.H. Berry, Cooper examined real estate market trends, reviewed entitlement analytics, and performed tenant financial review with Capital Properties in Birmingham, Ala.
Cooper is a graduate of the University of Alabama and a member of ICSC. He gives back to his community through his work as a junior board member with Mitchell's Place, a non-profit providing services for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. He is also a member of the Tanner Foundation, which provides support to help reduce the financial and psychological burdens experienced by people living with neurological diseases, particularly ALS, MS and Parkinson's Disease.
