CHICAGO (January 17, 2018) – SRS Real Estate Partners’ Chicago office announced the lease of the former CoCo Key Water Resort at Arlington Downs, the mixed-use development located just west of Arlington International Racecourse in Arlington Heights.
First Ascent Climbing and Fitness has leased a portion of the former waterpark and offers 30,000 square feet of indoor rock-climbing including a soaring 57-foot high rock wall. This membership club will also feature numerous workout amenities and classes. Funtopia, a kids’ entertainment facility, leased the remaining 15,000 square feet of the space and features fun walls, ropes courses, crawling caves, a jungle gym and birthday party events and camps.
Also coming soon to Arlington Downs is Vib Hotel, a 116-room stylish boutique hotel concept designed for today’s connected travelers.
These entertainment and hotel tenants join One Arlington, a 214-unit luxury apartment building that is 98% leased with underground parking. At the base of One Arlington is N25, a 25,000 SF shared workplace environment currently at capacity and with expansion plans in place. Phase 2 of Arlington One will break ground in 2nd quarter 2018 with another 443 apartment units with self-contained parking and a small first floor retail component.
Arlington Downs is located at the northeast corner of Rohlwing Road and Euclid Avenue and will open in the first quarter 2019.
