Rebranded Firm Adds Five Professionals; Signs 90,000 sq. ft. of Retail Leases

(Atlanta, Georgia)  March 3, 2009 – SRS Real Estate Partners is pleased to announce the addition of five top retail real estate professionals from Catalyst Retail Group to its Atlanta team.

Recently, officials with Staubach Retail Services announced plans to rebrand the 23-year-old firm as SRS Real Estate Partners. The firm will continue to focus on representation services of retail real estate clients. Roger Staubach will remain on the SRS Real Estate Partners board and will remain an equity holder.

In addition to the new team, the Atlanta office of SRS Real Estate Partners is pleased to announce the completion of more than 90,000 sf of retail leases signed in the past month:

  • Hobby Lobby has signed a 45,000 sf lease for a former Goody’s space at Barrett Pavilion in Kennesaw, GA. Steve Gunning, vice president, and Mike Leonard, senior vice president, both of SRS Real Estate Partners represented Hobby Lobby. The landlord is Developers Diversified Realty.
  • Hobby Lobby has signed a 40,000 sf lease at Perimeter Village in Dunwoody, GA. Steve Gunning, vice president, and Mike Leonard, senior vice president, both of SRS Real Estate Partners represented Hobby Lobby. The landlord is Weingarten Realty.
  • Shoe Carnival has signed a 10,000 sf lease at Camp Creek Marketplace in East Point, GA. Steve Gunning, vice president, SRS Real Estate Partners represented Shoe Carnival. The landlord was represented by Retail Planning Corporation.
  • Pet Supermarket has selected Palmer Bayless, CCIM, senior vice president, SRS Real Estate Partners to handle their expansion for the state of Georgia.
