SRS Real Estate Partners Adds Buyer Representation and 1031 Exchange Specialist to National Net Lease Group in Newport Beach

Further expands the net lease platform’s capabilities

Newport Beach, Calif. (November 2, 2017) – SRS Real Estate Partners is proud to welcome Greg Cline as vice president in the National Net Lease Group’s Newport Beach office. Focusing on buyer representation and 1031 exchanges, Greg has joined SRS to assist investors and 1031 exchange buyers and to launch a national buyer representation practice within the NNLG. As the NNLG has historically focused mostly on seller representation, Greg will strengthen SRS’ buyer services and connect them to the extensive national inventory that SRS represents. The NNLG has made significant strides to expand the size of the platform, now with over 40 net lease professionals all working on a singular platform, including the team located in New York who joined SRS over the summer. The addition of Greg and the expertise he brings, expands the platform’s offerings, making it one of the strongest and most comprehensive triple net platforms in the nation.

Greg has more than 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, having taken his broker’s test at the age of 19, making him the youngest broker in California at the time. In 1989 Greg started The Cline Company, which soon after affiliated with the JB Company, currently known as J.B. Enterprises, a commercial/investment real estate corporation and property management service company, where he was responsible for six million square feet of space. Most recently, Greg worked with CBRE as part of the Net Lease Investment Group, where he was involved in the sale of notable properties that included Starbucks, Tractor Supply, Jiffy Lube, Verizon, Taco Bell, KFC, and DaVita Dialysis.

Greg has closed many significant transactions during his career, including a 1,100-acre housing project in the Auburn area with 400 lots and a golf course, one of only five in the world designed by both Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. He also secured a 460,000-square-foot warehouse for United Natural Foods, as well as two warehouses and 38 acres of land adjacent to the Lincoln Airport for Coherent, the world’s leading supplier of laser solutions.

The NNLG, operating as a single and collaborative platform based in SRS’ Newport Beach office, with transactions taking place in over 35 states, has recruited some of the most talented net lease brokers across the nation, and is one of the most active net lease investment teams in the country. With their most recent additions, the NNLG is now 23 brokers strong. When including support staff, there are now over 40 individuals dedicated exclusively to seller and buyer representation of net lease investments. Adding Greg’s depth of experience in buyer services signifies another substantial achievement as SRS further solidifies its place as a major player in retail investment services across the U.S.
