Restaurants building sells

Investors paid $1.75 million for the building leased to Arby’s and Guthrie’s restaurants at 51 N. Greeno Road in Fairhope, according to Andrew Chason of Marcus & Millichap, who represented the buyer. Erik Vogelzang of SRS Real Estate Partners worked for the seller. The building is more than 4,000 square feet on almost an acre.

Local developers paid $825,000 for the former Landmark East condominium site at 588 E. Beach Blvd. in Gulf Shores, according to David and Angie Swiger of Swiger & Company Realtors, who coordinated the transaction for the buyers and sellers. The property is adjacent to Grand Beach Resort condos and a short distance from Gulf State Park Pier. The land measures 102 feet by 240 feet and is zoned business tourism.

A local investor paid $250,000 for almost 1.5 acres on U.S. 31 in Spanish Fort and plans to build a retail building on the site, according to Tim Herrington of Herrington Realty, who represented the buyer. The nearest large cross street is Ala. 181. The seller was represented by Bill Menas of RE/MAX Signature Properties commercial division.

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers has leased 1,400 square feet of retail space in Foley Plaza at 2159 S. McKenzie St., in Foley, according to Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties. LifeSouth will place a pop-up facility there.

The Alibi, a woman-owned barber shop, has leased 2,944 square feet of retail space in Music Plaza at 3656 Government Blvd., in Mobile, and is scheduled to open in the spring, according to Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord. Timothy Mills of The Cummings Company worked for the barber shop.
